My first test drive of Renderman for Maya. Coming from a 3dsmax + Maxwell background I struggled a lot with Maya but felt very comfortable in Renderman RIS.
The image shows a vintage Zeiss Ikon Nettar camera which was available from around 1933-1951.The modeling and unwrapping was done by my good friend Vasilii in 3dsmax and I did the shading, lighting etc. in Maya. Lit with HDRI and Pxr AreaLights.
